An Entire City Block Where Art Happens
The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts is an Entire City Block Where Art Happens. The six buildings and 145,000 square feet of art space offer everything from 200 arts-based classes every 10 weeks, to 45 artists working in their professional studios. Each floor of the main 5-story building invites visitors to explore the arts through dance, music and five – always exciting and ever-changing galleries. Over 20 arts-based organizations also call the GoggleWorks home.
Visit the GoggleWorks and all it has to offer. Stay for an hour or stay for the day. It’s always free admission. GoggleWorks offers free, private and secure parking in our lot, which can be entered from 3rd, 2nd or Walnut Streets.

Directions from Philadelphia, PA: Take I-76 N to PA Turnpike West (toll) to Exit 298 (Formerly Exit 22) Morgantown-Reading. Follow I-176 to 422W to Reading Exit at Penn Street, follow Penn Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street (at the second traffic light). Cross over Court Street and Washington Street. Entrance to GoggleWorks’ free parking lot is on the left side of the street in the middle of the block.
ALTERNATE: From King of Prussia use 202S to 422W, at Reading take 422W BYPASS and follow Penn Street. proceed as above.
Directions from Washington D.C. – Baltimore, MD: Take I-495N to I-95N to I-695W to I-83N to York, PA. Pick up 30E to Lancaster. In Lancaster pick up Route 222 North to Reading. Stay on 222 North to Route 422East to Penn Street exit. Follow into the city and Turn left onto 3rd Street (at the second traffic light). Cross over Court Street and Washington Street. Entrance to GoggleWorks’ free parking lot is on the left side of the street in the middle of the block.
Directions from Manhattan, NY: Take Lincoln Tunnel to NJ Tpk South to Exit 14. Take I-78W to Exit 40 (Formerly Exit 12) at Krumsville, PA. Take 737S toward Kutztown for 5 miles, pick up 222S to 222 bypass, exit at Penn Street, follow Penn Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street (at second traffic light). Cross over Court Street and Washington Street. Entrance to GoggleWorks’ free parking lot is on the left side of the street in the middle of the block.
