Summer 2010 session- now enrolling!

The GoggleWorks offers classes for every type of artist- from those who think they can only draw stick figures, to the painter who spends all their free time in the studio. The Summer 2010 session includes everything from one day workshops to 6 week classes, and covers a variety of art mediums, including: ceramics, glass, painting, drawing, dance, photography, web design, and wood working. A GoggleWorks course can be a great resume builder, or the perfect opportunity to create work for your portfolio. Also, teachers may earn their Act 48 continuing education hours by taking select GoggleWorks classes. No matter what class you take or why, you will be working with talented artists in an incredible environment.

Woodturning Workshop
Ed Youtz
Make chips with practice wood and then turn, finish and take home a small candle holder. The instructor will introduce you to the safe use of four turning tools through a series of practice exercises. He will demonstrate the technique to be learned and then coach you to an understanding of that technique. In your four hour woodturning introduction, you will gain enough experience to know if woodturning is for you.
