Summer 2013 Classes & Workshops – Register Now!
Explore your creative side and explore the sites of Berks County! This summer we offer off-site courses in drawing, pastels “en plein air” – a French term for “in the open air” – and the return of Watercolor Plein. Capture the tranquil scenery of our beautiful community while challenging your artistic skills.
With busy summer schedules, we offer courses to meet everyone’s needs. Our workshops provide a taste of art, working in our studios for a few hours one or two days. Classes provide more in depth instruction over a 4-week to 10-week period, depending on the course.
This summer we introduce a new opportunity to work in GoggleWorks’ studios for one-week intensives. Courses are offered in glass blowing, glass fusing, ceramics and woodworking. These classes are for the serious artist who would like to learn on a more intensive scale and further develop his/her skills, while creating a bounty of beautiful work. As you can see by the Table of Contents listed above, we are offering classes/workshops in a wide variety of mediums. While we continue to offer the best in visual art classes, we add exciting opportunities to the culinary arts program including a class where a botanist will teach students how to properly plant, tend and utilize their garden produce in the kitchen.
There are many fun, creative opportunities for the whole family at GoggleWorks this summer! Discover the right art experience for you.
