WF1201 Recycled Rug

Instructor: Dawnita Smith

In this five-hour class, students will begin to create a new and functional oval rug with a basic knotting technique using lightweight cotton fabrics from old sheets, curtains and clothes. Students are encouraged to bring their own fabric to
use or share.

Date: Saturday, Feb. 4

WF1202 Felting Techniques

Instructor: Kimberly Tanzos

In this 2-day workshop, students will learn wet and needle felting techniques. On day one, students will experience hand felting, creating a unique piece of felt that can be embroidered and/or used to create a unique bag, hat or wall hanging.On the second day, students will explore needle felting, embroidery, and various embellishment techniques.
