Exhibition Proposal

Goggleworks Holly Smith Exhibit

Cohen Gallery | First Floor

Located on the first floor, the largest gallery in the GoggleWorks is divided into two distinct spaces and is capable of hosting either one major show or two separate exhibitions simultaneously. One side of the gallery, approx. 2,700 sq. ft., has a wood floor and can hold 35-40 pieces of art depending on the size. The other side, approx. 3,100 sq. ft., has a concrete floor and can hold 80 to 100 pieces of art. Both sides of the gallery feature moveable walls that are 4ft. wide and 8ft. high and large windows for natural light, in addition to the adjustable track lights.

The rental fee is $1,000 per month per side, with a 35% commission on any work sold.

Any artist interested in renting the Cohen Gallery should submit a portfolio, resume/bio, and artist statement to the Executive Director, Diane LaBelle, for consideration.

Curator´s Choice Exhibition occurs every other year. Several artists are selected by the Exhibition Committee (EC). To be considered: submit 15 digital images, 100 word bio, and artist statement to the Gallery Coordinator. Submissions will be reviewed by the EC; artists selected will be contacted by a member of the EC to obtain any needed additional information and schedule a studio visit if local.

Schmidt Gallery | Second Floor


At 1500 sq. feet, the Schmidt Gallery is available for rent to host either a solo or group exhibition. This space features sections of raw brick wall as well as both stationary and moveable 4ft. x 8ft. gallery walls, windows for natural light, and adjustable track lighting.

This gallery is available for anyone to rent.
The fee is $500 per month with a 25% commission on any work sold,
OR $1,000 per month with a 15% commission on any work sold through the GW Store
(No commission if the sales are handled directly by the artist).

Green Wall | First Floor


Located directly across from the Information Desk on the first floor, this vibrant green wall is a prominent, highly-trafficked space for displaying artwork. It holds approx. 5-7 wall-mounted pieces, depending on size.

Juried - All work for this space will be juried by the Executive Director and the Gallery Coordinator.

The rental fee is $150 per month with a two month limit and a 35% commission on any work sold.

3rd Floor Vault | Third Floor


Originally used to store precious metals used in the production of Wilson Safety Products, the industrial vault now stands empty. The vault offers the opportunity for artists to curate their own shows in this intimate 7´W x 7´4”D x 11´6”H space. Any medium is allowed, within the parameters of the space. Site-specific installations work best, as the vault walls and floor are concrete and cannot be nailed into.

To reserve the Vault, please submit the following to the Gallery Coordinator:
• a detailed description of the proposed installation
• artist resume/bio/statement
• digital images of the work labeled with the artist´s name, title and size of the work

The rental fee is $100 per month with a 35% commission on any work sold.

Wall Rentals | Second, Third, and Fourth Floors


Hallway walls are available for rent throughout the building, providing excellent venues for artists looking for smaller, highly-trafficked spaces.

Juried - All work for this space will be juried by the Executive Director and the Gallery Coordinator.
