CORPORATE AND FOUNDATION GIVING:

As a nonprofit organization, the GoggleWorks depends upon private funding provided by its foundation and corporate supporters. Such generosity enables the GoggleWorks to meet the significant costs of running a cultural institution that welcomes thousands of people each month. Your contribution helps to maintain the GoggleWorks' position as a catalyst for cultural and economic revitalization in Reading and Berks County through support for special exhibitions and through educational programs that address the needs of all visitors and members. We welcome your partnership and look forward to discussing with you the many benefits of your involvement.

On any given day, hundreds of visitors make their way through the GoggleWorks, encountering a diverse array of art in many forms. Involvement through the Corporate and Foundation Partner Program or sponsorship of exhibitions and programming helps to welcome those visitors every day.

Support

By contributing to the GoggleWorks, organizations take an active role in helping the GoggleWorks create quality exhibitions and innovative educational programs. Corporate and Foundaton partnerships establish important relationships with the arts center and play a vital role in making exhibitions and public programs possible.

Community

Whether it is a group of Reading school children encountering glass blowing, an artist sketching an Impressionist work in the galleries, or parents and children enjoying a family workshop, visitors to the GoggleWorks are a community of people-from Reading and surrounding areas -who have been influenced by the transforming power of art. We encourage your organization to join us!

SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS:

The GoggleWorks' proximity, audience, exhibitions and programming provide outstanding sponsorship opportunities for individuals and any size corporation or foundation. Sponsorship is a vital source of financial support for the GoggleWorks and a valuable marketing opportunity for any sponsoring organization. To that end, the GoggleWorks works closely with each corporate sponsor to establish a comprehensive package that ensures prominent visibility among a vast and diverse audience.

PLANNED GIVING:

Gift Planning at the GoggleWorks enables you, the donor, to choose, among viable alternatives, the best way to maximize your estate plan for your heirs and family and friends while benefiting the GoggleWorks.

GIFTS IN HONOR:

A gift in tribute to the GoggleWorks is a thoughtful way to celebrate a special occasion or to honor family or friends. When you make a gift in tribute, a personalized card in acknowledgment is sent to the individual or family being honored, without reference, of course, to the size of the gift. Gifts made in tribute support the Annual Fund.

THE ASHLEY BOYER SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

Ashley was one of the first students in the GoggleWorks hot glass shop. The Ashley Boyer scholarship fund was created in Ashley’s memory so that students without the financial means will have an opportunity to share the excitement that Ashley felt when she took classes at the GoggleWorks.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:

The GoggleWorks Capital Campaign was launched in 2005 and proceeds from the campaign will be used to pay for renovation costs of the Willson Safety Products building. All gifts to the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts campaign are important and appreciated. We will be pleased to work with you and your financial advisor to determine the most favorable method for your gift.

Gifts of cash can be pledged over a three or five-year period and made in installments as frequently as monthly. Lump-sum contributions are welcomed.

Gifts of property, such as stock, real estate or personal property can be accepted. Appreciated publicly traded stock is often the most attractive asset to use in making a charitable gift.

For more information on how to give, contact Brandy Lang.

All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
The official registration and financial information of GoggleWorks Center for the Arts may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.
