GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, in collaboration with the Greater Reading Convention & Visitors Bureau, presents the PA Glass Trail. The PA Glass Trail is an exciting new arts venture connecting the GoggleWorks with independent glass artists’ studios along the Route 222 corridor from Lancaster to Lehigh Valley.

The PA Glass Trail provides visitors interested in the rich history and production of glass art with a self guided tour to visit participating glass artists’ studios, galleries, and shops, where artists share with visitors their work, experiences, and creative workplaces. The Trail Guide allows you to take a self-guided tour of the PA Glass Trail. Artists featured on our trail will take time to share their experiences as they create new works of glass in their studios. See how each artist uses his or her unique workspace to shape their art.

For a deeper experience of the PA Glass Trail, you can purchase a PA Glass Trail Passport Poster for $35. This Passport will give you biographical information about the artists, a map of the PA Glass Trail, information on bed and breakfast package deals, and a chance to win a handmade glass work of art. The Passport is available at the GoggleWorks Information Desk, by calling 610-374-4600, or through any participating bed and breakfast.

The PA Glass Trail runs four weekends each year. For 2008, the PA Glass Trail is open March 8 -9, May 10 - 11, September 13 - 14 , October 11 - 12 and December 6 - 7. The Glass Trail is available on Saturdays from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sundays from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. For more information or to schedule the PA Glass Trail, please call 1.800.443.6610.
