Spring 2017 Programs
Maker Dates, offered on the last Friday of every month from 6-8pm, are a creative night out for family, friends, and loved ones to try their hand at something new in our ceramics, hot glass, and warm glass studios. Enjoy a short tour, instructor demos, and then make something of your own. Afterwards mingle while enjoying beer, wine, and light refreshments. 18+; no experience necessary.
Home is a place where we gather with friends and loved ones to laugh, eat, and enjoy life. It is easy to overlook how important it is to surround ourselves with meaningful objects living in an age of mass production. The Handcrafted Home series of workshops are designed for all skill levels to, not only learn a new craft, but to enrich your home with handmade objects that are personal and functional. 18+; no experience necessary.
Our core curriculum, taught by professional artist instructors, includes 5-week introductory classes, as well as level 1 and 2 courses in ceramics, drawing & painting, hot & warm glass, metalsmithing, printmaking, photography, and woodworking. Classes are complimented by shorter, special topic, technique-based workshops.
In our NEW! Teen Studio Sampler, teens, ages 13-17, explore the various studios at GoggleWorks and find their creative fit in this series of workshops designed to introduce them to the materials and process of making within the studio environment. No experience necessary.
Our NEW! Mini Maker! Family Workshops are designed for kids, ages 7-12, to create and learn something new together with their loved ones. An adult must participate in the workshop; the tuition fee covers one individual and you must register for each adult and child attending.
Let our skilled instructors guide you through the basics as you learn at your own pace in our new, one-hour private lessons offered in glassblowing and wheel throwing. Registration includes up to two individuals; ages 12+, no experience necessary.
