Become a GoggleWorks volunteer and bring the arts into your life and the lives of others.
You are invited to join the artists and staff at the GoggleWorks to promote the arts as a volunteer. The diverse backgrounds and expertise of volunteers enhance the abilities of the staff, strengthen ties to the community and make possible the day-to-day operations and special activities at the GoggleWorks.
There are many ways to Volunteer at the GoggleWorks, training is provided.
- Art Class Assistant
- Work with GoggleWorks artists to assist students in art classes.
- Gallery Exhibition Assistant
- Assist the GoggleWorks staff with installing, staging and taking down of exhibits.
- Group Tour Leader
- Lead group tours throughout the GoggleWorks Campus showcasing the history and artwork.
- GoggleWorks: Store
- Assist in selling artwork, gifts and art supplies in the GoggleWorks gift shop. Retail experience or willingness to learn are all that is required.
- Information Desk
- Greet visitors and provide information about the GoggleWorks.
- Film Theatre Assistant
- Assist theatre attendant with concession stand, ticket taking and ushering.
- Special Events
- Perform a variety of tasks at special events like Second Sunday Open House Events, Anniversary Celebrations, and various events througout the year.
- Campus Maintenance
- Mow the GoggleGrass, help in various studios, paint, water plants and make the GoggleWorks sparkle!
